About Us

Our Experience

Windfall Services LLC is owned by two lifelong friends, Wyatt Vann and Brayden Wells, who’ve known each other since grade school. Wyatt has been in the home service industry since he was 16 and brings nearly a decade of experience managing crews, scheduling, and making sure every customer is taken care of. Brayden’s spent years in the trades with a strong background in exterior cleaning, mechanical work, and hands-on service. Our main technician has over 10 years of experience as well. Together, we started Windfall Services to bring dependable, no-nonsense home services to Lane County—built on trust, hard work, and doing the job right the first time.

The name “Windfall” comes from a remote lake deep in a canyon that Brayden and Wyatt hike to every year. It’s a brutal two-and-a-half mile drop through boulders, cliffs, rockslides, and thick brush—over 3,000 feet of elevation loss. But once you're there, it’s unreal. A clear, still lake packed with fish and wildlife, like something out of a movie. Most people won’t make the hike—but those who do are rewarded with something unforgettable. That’s what Windfall means to us: going the extra mile, doing what most won’t, and delivering results that most can’t.

Small Buisness

We’re not a big fancy company with shiny trucks, corporate layers, or a receptionist putting you on hold. We’re the ones answering the phone, writing the estimates, and showing up to do the work. That means you get fast answers, fair pricing, and a crew that actually cares about the outcome. No gimmicks—just reliable service from people who treat your property like it’s their own.

We're running this business lean and hands-on for as long as we can. Nearly every dollar Windfall makes is getting reinvested to help it grow. We're not out here splurging on office space or expensive overhead. Wyatt—the guy writing this website, building our Google profile, and running all the ads—is also the one replying to customers and sending quotes. Brayden and I answer every call ourselves, and our labor is our own. Brayden’s out in the field leading jobs with his brother, who’s our main technician. There's no middlemen, no fluff—just a small, local crew working hard to build something real.

We’re not planning to stay small forever. We’re building this thing to scale. But right now, we're doing everything ourselves and being smart about how we grow. That means customers get the benefit of real people, real communication, and real pride in the work. This is a small company with big plans—and we’re just getting started.

What we have Learned so far

What We’ve Learned So Far

Running a service business teaches you fast—and sometimes the hard way. One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is that the conversations you don’t want to have are the ones you absolutely need to. If there’s something you should say to a client—say it. Whether it’s telling them it’s your first time tackling a certain job, that you’re unsure about the outcome, or that you simply can’t take it on at all—honesty is everything. When you're upfront, people respect it. And more often than not, they’ll work with you and appreciate the transparency.

We’ve also learned that if a customer isn’t happy, you make it right—period. You don’t ignore them. You don’t make excuses. You show up, you listen, and you fix it. Reputation isn’t something you can buy or fake. We've worked with companies who try to skip that part, and we’ve seen firsthand how fast that catches up to them. That will never be us. Taking care of people is what we stand on—and we plan to carry that standard forward for as long as this business lives.

We’re still learning. We’re not some guy who’s been running a business for 40 years and thinks his way is the only way. We’re new to the game—relatively—and that’s actually one of our biggest strengths. When we don’t know something, we figure it out. Even with things we’ve been doing for seven-plus years, we’re willing to change tomorrow if we find a better way. We don’t pretend to know everything, and we never will. That mindset has kept us sharp, honest, and growing. It’s one of the things we’re most proud of.

We’ve also learned the value of showing up on time, answering the phone when it rings, and keeping our word—basic stuff that somehow isn’t so common anymore. We’re not perfect. But we own our mistakes, we hustle to make things right, and we care deeply about the work we do and the people we do it for.

That’s Windfall—and that’s what we’re building..
